Charter

The title of «UNESCO World Heritage Site» not only requires the conservation of the site itself in the strict sense of the term, but also commits the municipalities that live there to develop the region in a sustainable manner. One of the basic conditions for inclusion in the World Heritage List was established by the signing of the Charter of Konkordiaplatz in 2001, which requires an economic, social and ecological development of the region.  This territory must be protected with its diversity for present and future generations.
