With the nomination as a World Heritage site and the signature of the Charter the municipalities involved committed to conserve the values of the site for future generations and to develop the region in a sustainable way. How the development between protection and land use will be defined depends highly from the next generations. Education and awareness rising of children and young people \u2013 being tomorrow\u2019s decision makers \u2013 for the particularities and values of natural and cultural landscapes are therefore of relevance for the regional development as well as the key tasks of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch.<\/p>\n
